Naming Ceremonies
What a wonderful occasion it is when a new baby is welcomed into the world, or an adopted child into the family!
I can offer you beautiful alternatives to traditional faith based ceremonies. Surrounded by family and friends, you can affirm your love and commitment to your child.
I offer ceremonies for many different kinds of families. There is no prescribed way, I will create something that is unique and personal to you, whatever is meaningful to you.
You may want spiritual elements woven into the ceremony.
You may want grandparents, friends, godparents, mentors etc. to witness your ceremony or you may want it to be quiet and simple.
You can choose wherever you’d like to hold your ceremony.
You may want to include music, readings, poems, candles, balloons, or to plant a tree, or something completely different.
Whatever your wishes, Star Ceremonies will create an inspiring ceremony with you for this wonderful life event.
Cost
You will need to book and pay for your venue.
Cost of naming ceremony £250. This includes home visit, telephone contact with celebrant, draft ceremony for checking, order of ceremony agreed, friendly support, professional delivery of service in venue of your choice, your own written copy of ceremony, certificate of naming.
Further costs: to be agreed
• If you wish me to purchase items you want to keep after your ceremony, such as certificates for grandparents, mentors etc., candles, order of service being printed…and so on.
• If you want your ceremony to be held at a venue or time that incurs an overnight stay or much travelling we can agree costs.
